LGI Homes, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Land Acquisitions in the Raleigh area to lead the sourcing and underwriting of residential land. The role encompasses negotiating contracts, budgeting for acquisitions, and building a skilled acquisitions team.

The ideal candidate will have 7–10 years in homebuilding, a preferred Bachelor’s degree, and a valid driver's license. Occasional travel may be required as part of market coverage.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience in the homebuilding industry.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Willing to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Acquire residential lots and land in the Raleigh and Wilmington markets.
• Negotiate and execute all contracts for land acquisitions.
• Underwrite acquisitions in LGI Homes' process.
• Manage acquisition budgets and costs.
• Recruit, train and manage additional staff as needed.
