AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Loss Control Property Operations to supervise the development and implementation of property loss control programs for insureds.

You will oversee inspections, coordinate with third-party firms, and drive service opportunities across underwriting and claims. The role requires 15+ years in property/boiler machinery and 5+ years in leadership, with an engineering background and relevant certifications a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of technical experience in property and/or boiler machinery operations, maintenance, or inspection in the electric power industry or risk management/broker experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience including supervising remote workers, budgets, schedules, and proposals.
• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent discipline desired.
• Certifications such as CFPS, NBIC, ARM, ASP/CSP are a plus.
• NFPA codes, fire protection and loss control knowledge for power and gas industries.
• NBIC and ASME codes familiarity for pressure vessels.

Responsabilités

• Assist SVP of Loss Control in developing business plans.
• Coordinate engineering services for insureds and supervise projects.
• Prepare proposals, time/expense estimates, and risk reports.
• Work with underwriters to identify service opportunities and revenue.
• Identify cost improvements and leverage new technology including AI.
