Job summary

AISI AEGIS Insurance Services, Inc. is seeking a Senior Machinery Loss Control Professional to develop and implement machinery loss control programs in their Underwriting division. This role requires a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field with a minimum of 8 years of experience in the electric power generating industry.

The position offers a salary of $140,000 – $165,000 based on qualifications and experience, with benefits including health, retirement, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (preferred in electrical or mechanical) or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in the electric power generating industry.
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Consultation and implementation of loss control services for Insureds.
• Evaluate generating facility operations and make risk reduction suggestions.
• Participate in development of loss control products and services.

Skills

In-depth knowledge of machinery loss control principles

Analytical and problem-solving skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Ability to convey model practices of the industry

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, science or loss control discipline
