Job summary

Phoenix Staff, Inc. is seeking a Senior Vice President of Operations to lead day-to-day manufacturing and scale operations for rapid growth.

You will establish systems, accountability, and daily management routines to support a $30M-revenue base aiming to over $75–$100M with new capacity. Reporting to the CEO, you will drive throughput, on-time delivery, and dashboards while strengthening leaders and training across the operation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 10+ years manufacturing/operations leadership experience.
• Experience with batch manufacturing environments.
• Experience scaling operations to $75–100M revenue.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and practice.
• Ability to lead capital projects and facility expansions.
• Strong budgeting and cost-management skills.
• Leadership development and daily management discipline.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership across batch manufacturing, planning, procurement, inventory, warehousing, shipping/receiving, maintenance, and facilities.
• Maintain a strong presence on the manufacturing floor and remove constraints to improve throughput.
• Develop a practical operating dashboard focusing on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and people with regular reviews.
• Establish ownership of operational issues and track corrective actions.
• Build production plans coordinating demand, materials, labor, and capacity while improving schedule attainment.
• Collaborate with Quality, Sales, and Finance to balance customer needs and operating priorities.
• Support commissioning and ramp-up of new capacity and facilities.
• Develop capacity strategies and recommend investments in equipment, automation, and staffing.
• Lead and develop managers and frontline leaders with clear expectations and accountability.
• Implement onboarding and role-specific training for production teams.
