Job summary

Covera Health is seeking a Senior Vice President of Engineering to lead the Engineering and Platform/IT organizations, directing a technology organization of about 30 people including AI. You will own architecture, standards, and day-to-day execution, partnering with the CPTO on strategy and delivery.

You will drive architectural decisions, ensure reliability and security, and maintain engineering quality while aligning with product and business goals.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive software engineering and technology experience.
• Experience leading engineering teams and managers while actively involved in architecture & execution.
• Strong product instincts and ability to connect technology strategy to product, customer, and business needs.
• Experience with ML/AI engineering teams or products that incorporate AI/ML capabilities.
• Experience operating in startup or growth-stage environments.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day engineering execution, architecture, technical quality, and reliability.
• Lead and develop a small group of engineering leaders while staying connected to teams.
• Set and maintain a high engineering bar balancing performance, reliability, security, and cost.
• Bridge Engineering with Product, Data, AI, Clinical, Operations, Security, and other teams.
