Goldman Sachs is seeking an Associate in Houston within the Natural Resources Coverage group. You will develop client relationships, participate in advisory teams, and help structure and execute a range of transactions, including M&A, equity, and debt financings.

Responsibilities include modeling, preparing presentations, managing transaction processes, coordinating with tax and legal teams, and supporting negotiations. Previous Natural Resources banking experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ investment banking or equivalent experience
• History of outstanding academic and professional achievement
• Strong team orientation and a demonstrated ability to work effectively with team members in multiple groups and regions
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
• Ability to juggle changing priorities and a varied workload
• Natural Resources banking and transaction experience preferred

Responsabilités

• Develop and strengthen client relationships and participate on advisory teams
• Structure and execute a full range of financial transactions
• Create and analyze financial models and prepare client presentations
• Organize and manage transaction processes and lead due diligence
• Coordinate with tax, legal, and banking teams during transactions
• Assist in negotiations of legal documentation and client communication
