Job summary

LeoForce, based in Franklin, TN, seeks an experienced SVP of Litigation and Risk Management to lead litigation, claims, insurance, and enterprise risk. The role partners with the Chief Legal Officer and senior leadership to improve outcomes, forecasting, and risk controls.

The candidate will oversee senior leaders and outside counsel, manage budgets and reserves, and develop data-driven strategies for high-exposure matters across professional liability and regulatory investigations.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law and bar membership in good standing (US).
• Significant in-house litigation and risk management experience in a highly regulated industry.
• Prior in-house legal experience required.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex litigation portfolios, including high-exposure disputes, class actions, and regulatory investigations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization’s litigation, claims, insurance, and risk management functions, with ~95% professional liability matters.
• Manage and develop senior leaders overseeing claims litigation, litigation strategy, insurance, and a broader claims team.
• Oversee a portfolio of complex litigation matters, including professional liability claims, class actions, regulatory investigations, and workers’ compensation.
