Job summary

The Village Bank seeks a Senior Vice President, Chief Lending Officer to guide the lending function and drive growth, portfolio performance, and client relationships. This role reports to the President & CEO and oversees commercial, residential, and consumer lending with a focus on strong development and risk management.

The ideal candidate is a relationship-driven leader with deep banking experience, capable of mentoring teams and aligning lending with regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Bank’s lending functions, including business development, portfolio management, and loan servicing, to meet goals with profitable risk levels.
• Develop and execute lending strategies, targeting loan growth while balancing return and risk.
• Partner with the Chief Credit Officer to align lending with risk tolerance and strategic goals.
• Manage lending teams to expand market presence and wallet share.
• Oversee loan origination and ensure excellent customer service.
