Fortitude Re is seeking a Senior Vice President, Investment Business Management in New Jersey to design and deliver process and control improvements for investment data and reporting, while overseeing cross-functional operations between Investment Accounting and Investment Operations. The role emphasizes hands-on problem solving and communicating progress to executive management.

The ideal candidate has 12+ years in investment operations or accounting, deep knowledge of the investment lifecycle,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
12+ years of experience in investment operations, investment accounting, or financial process or controls transformation.
Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and testing internal controls over financial reporting.
Strong knowledge of the investment lifecycle across complex asset classes and related data/processes.
Experience leading cross-functional process design and operating models between operations and accounting.

Responsabilités

Evaluate investment operations and accounting processes end to end; identify enhancements and lead design improvements.
Own root cause analysis of recurring breaks and translate findings into process, control, and system changes.
Lead the design and implementation of the control environment over investment data and reporting.
