Job summary

Fortitude Reinsurance Company Ltd. is seeking an AVP of Investment Analytics in Jersey City on a hybrid basis. The role leads complex analytics projects, translating leadership direction into actionable analyses, and coordinating across actuarial, accounting, and investment teams.

You will supervise Associates and develop new models for ALM, pricing, and structured products, balancing technical depth with business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in math, computer science, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• 7+ years of experience in investments analytics, portfolio management, or other investments function.
• CFA or FSA preferred.
• Knowledge of Fixed Income modeling as it relates to Analytics and Cashflows.
• Strong analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency with SQL, R, Python, or other programming languages.
• Knowledge of Bloomberg and advanced Excel skills is required.
• Experience with financial data vendors and fixed income modeling tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex projects within the investment analytics function, ensuring end-to-end delivery.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration with finance, investment operations, asset managers, and vendors.
• Develop analytics frameworks to support ALM, pricing, cedent requirements, and regulatory reporting.
• Build and automate investment operation models, including income recognition and deal onboarding.
• Supervise junior team members and guide methodologies and deliverables.
• Identify process improvements and standardize workflows for scalability and data quality.
• Design quantitative research on private credit data and liquidity risk models.
• Develop structured product models for ABF, CLOs, RMBS, CMBS and related assets.
• Support investment strategy with standardized pricing and scalable analytics.
