Job summary

Oliver James is seeking a VP Compliance to lead its insurance regulatory program spanning life, health, annuity, and related products. The role advises executives on regulatory risk, directs the Compliance function, and partners with business leaders to ensure products, operations, and distribution meet applicable requirements.

Qualifications

• Lead and continuously enhance the organization's compliance framework, policies, procedures, and controls.
• Advise executive leadership and business partners on regulatory requirements and compliance risks.
• Monitor federal and state regulatory changes and coordinate implementation across the business.
• Oversee product, rate, and form filings, including SERFF submissions.
• Lead compliance review of advertising, marketing, sales practices, and producer communications.
• Oversee consumer complaints and responses to regulatory inquiries.
• Coordinate market conduct examinations and regulatory remediation.
• Establish compliance oversight for TPAs, distributors, producers, and other third parties.
• Support the review of complex claims, rescissions, and contestability matters.
• Develop risk-based compliance monitoring and testing programs.
• Track corrective actions, remediation, and emerging compliance risks.
• Lead, develop, and manage the Compliance team.
