Job summary

VRC is seeking a senior valuation professional to perform valuations of companies, securities, and intangibles across industries using advanced models. You will conduct market research, manage engagements from planning to deliverables, supervise junior staff, and cultivate client relationships.

The role requires 5–7 years of valuation experience, a Finance/Accounting/Economics degree, and strong Excel-based skills, with CFA/ASA a plus. US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5-7 years’ work experience in a valuation capacity.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Economics.
• CFA and/or ASA designation(s) achieved or in process is a plus.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel.
• Strong verbal, written communication, listening and interpersonal skills.
• Superior analytical capabilities and aptitude to think critically.
• Ability to prioritize multiple assignments and collaborate with internal teams to manage time-sensitive engagements.
• Current authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Perform valuations of companies, securities and intangible assets using valuation models.
• Conduct research on clients, competitors, industries and capital markets.
• Manage valuation engagements from planning to client-ready deliverables.
• Supervise junior staff on technical judgment and project execution.
• Build and maintain client relationships.
• Collaborate with business development to scope work and prepare engagement letters.
• Participate in team improvements, recruitment and training, and data/model enhancements.
