Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as an Underwriter in Commercial Property & Casualty.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Willingness to travel within assigned territory.
• Proficient in Windows tools (Word, Excel, Email).
• Advanced professional insurance coursework (CPCU/AU) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Builds dynamic relationships with independent agencies to drive profitable growth.
• Achieves new business premium and renewal retention targets.
• Underwrites and prices within guidelines and granted authority.
• Uses underwriting tools to determine risk and exposure classifications.
• Reviews inspections to ensure risk characteristics align with information.
