Job summary

A global insurance provider is seeking a Vice President for their Engineered Risk team in Chicago. This role involves developing the Engineered Risk business, underwriting complex construction projects, and managing client relationships. Candidates should have over 12 years of experience in Engineered Risk underwriting and established relationships with brokers. Qualifications

• 12+ years of Engineered Risk/Construction Property underwriting experience.
• Established relationships with regional retail & wholesale brokers.
• Experience in successfully underwriting, quoting, and binding profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the development of the Engineered Risk business within the assigned territory.
• Underwrite complex construction projects to determine capacity allocation and pricing.
• Develop and execute a regional marketing plan aimed at retaining and producing new business.
