Job summary

A leading insurance company is seeking a Vice President for its Engineered Risk team. This role will focus on the development of the Engineered Risk business, including underwriting complex construction projects and managing client relationships. The ideal candidate will have over 12 years of experience in underwriting, strong analytical skills, and a Bachelor's Degree in an engineering discipline. The position allows for national travel and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and retirement savings plans.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Engineered Risk or Construction Property underwriting.
• Established relationships with regional retail and wholesale brokers.
• Experience successfully underwriting, quoting, and binding profitable business.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Engineered Risk business within assigned territory.
• Underwrite complex construction projects for capacity allocation and pricing.
• Manage and develop producer and client relationships.
