Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina (PCSC) seeks a Senior Vice President of Development to lead fundraising strategy, donor engagement, and the Foundation’s growth. Reporting to the CEO, this executive role shapes philanthropy across PCSC through major gifts, planned giving, and community relations.

The position requires building statewide donor networks, managing campaigns, and guiding foundation operations with a focus on ministry impact across PCSC communities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; five years of fundraising or funds development experience.
• Demonstrated experience with faith-based organizations preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Raiser’s Edge NXT is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute long-term fundraising strategy to increase charitable giving and donor engagement.
• Lead major funds, annual priorities, and capital campaigns; cultivate major donor prospects statewide.
• Oversee Planned Giving growth including bequests and estate commitments; promote educational outreach.
• Build relationships with Presbyterian Church (USA) congregations and PCSC community leaders; publicize fundraising mission.
• Provide executive oversight for Foundation operations, staffing, budget, and donor records.
