Job summary

Everest Group seeks a senior credit risk leader in New York with 15+ years of experience across credit risk, enterprise risk management, underwriting, investments, or related disciplines. You will help shape risk strategy, communicate with boards and regulators, and drive robust risk governance across portfolios including Surety and Trade Credit.

The role requires deep knowledge of stress testing, concentration risk, and derivatives credit risk, with a track record of building enterprise risk

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in credit risk, enterprise risk management, underwriting, investments, or related financial risk disciplines.
• Deep expertise in P&C underwriting credit risk, particularly within Surety, Trade Credit, Mortgage, Structured Credit, and/or Large Deductible portfolios.
• Experience interacting with executive leadership, boards, regulators, and rating agencies.
• Knowledge of derivatives and associated credit and counterparty risks.
• Familiarity with capital models used by regulators and rating agencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead or build enterprise credit risk frameworks within a complex financial services or insurance organization.
• Engage with executive leadership, boards, regulators, and rating agencies to communicate risk posture.
• Oversee portfolio risk, concentration risk, stress testing, and governance to ensure risk mitigation.
