Everest is seeking a seasoned and strategic Vice President, Credit Risk to join the Enterprise Risk Management Team. This role will be responsible for establishing and leading a best‑in‑class enterprise credit risk framework, providing independent oversight and challenge across underwriting, investment, reinsurance, and other credit‑sensitive exposures throughout the organization.
Reporting to the SVP of Financial Risk, the VP of Credit Risk will serve as Everest's senior subject matter expert on credit risk, helping shape risk appetite, capital allocation, portfolio management, and strategic decision‑making. The role requires a unique blend of insurance expertise, credit risk management, portfolio analytics, governance, and executive engagement. The successful candidate will possess deep expertise in Property & Casualty underwriting‑related credit exposures, including Surety, Trade Credit, Mortgage, Structured Credit, and Large Deductible programs, while also overseeing broader credit risks arising from investments, reinsurance counterparties, fronting arrangements, and premium receivables.
The base salary range for this position is $206,000 - $260,000 annually. The offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, experience, qualifications and work location.
