J&T Business Consulting is seeking a Senior Vice President & Controller in Irving, TX to oversee accounting operations and financial reporting. You will manage the general ledger, month-end close, loan accounting, investments, and regulatory filings while guiding policy and internal controls.

You will partner with executive leadership on strategic financial decisions, drive budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, and lead a skilled accounting team toward compliant, accurate results.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
• 5–10+ years of accounting/finance experience, preferably in banking or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and regulatory reporting, CECL framework.
• Experience with internal controls, audits, and examiner relationships.
• Proficiency with Prologue, banking software, ERP systems, and Excel.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily accounting operations: GL, AP/AR, fixed assets, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Oversee loan accounting and loan reporting.
• Manage organizational investments and financial reporting.
• Support banking system conversions or financial software implementations.
• Prepare and review GAAP financial statements and regulatory filings.
• Ensure timely tax filings and compliance with applicable regulations.
• Oversee internal control frameworks and lead audits.
• Coordinate annual budgeting and financial forecasting.
• Monitor liquidity, capital ratios, and key performance metrics.
• Partner with executives on strategic financial decisions and policy development.
• Supervise accounting staff and support professional development.
