Job summary

WSECU in Olympia, WA seeks a Vice President of Consumer Lending to lead a high-performing team through transformative initiatives. You will shape strategy across home equity, vehicle lending, and credit cards while aligning with the credit union's mission and risk framework.

You will mentor managers, drive streamlined workflows, and partner with Finance, Marketing, Branches, and Digital channels to deliver exceptional member experiences and scalable loan production during peaks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 10+ years of experience leading all aspects of consumer lending
• 5+ years at the management experience level in a $2B+ assets organization
• Proven ability to implement emerging technology to drive efficiency and improve borrower experience

Responsibilities

• Develop, oversee, and implement the annual Consumer Lending strategy and Business Plan
• Oversee productivity and workflow efficiencies of all consumer lending back-office operations
• Provide strong leadership to managers through coaching, evaluations, and training
• Develop and implement lending policies and underwriting guidelines
• Recommend new products and pricing strategies in collaboration with Finance
