Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial banking and lending experience.
- Proven track record of commercial loan production and business development.
- Experience with high-net-worth clients, entrepreneurs, and privately held businesses.
- Strong C&I and/or CRE lending experience.
- Established network within the Phoenix business community.
- Strong credit, underwriting, and structuring skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to build from the ground up.
- Consultative, relationship-focused client approach.
Responsibilities
- Build and grow a commercial loan portfolio through new business development and relationship expansion.
- Develop trusted relationships with high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners, executives, and investors.
- Originate, structure, and manage C&I and CRE transactions.
- Provide customized financing solutions aligned with clients' personal and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to deepen relationships across commercial and private banking services.
- Underwrite and present credits while maintaining sound credit discipline.
- Develop referral relationships with centers of influence, professional advisors, and other key contacts.
- Help establish the institution's presence and reputation in the Phoenix market.
- Work closely with senior leadership to build a relationship-driven, entrepreneurial banking platform.
