Job summary

Three Rivers Bank of Montana is seeking a strategic VP of Lending to lead the bank's commercial lending portfolio, overseeing commercial, CRE, consumer, and residential real estate lending. This senior role emphasizes relationship management, credit excellence, and regulatory compliance to support long-term growth.

As a member of the leadership team, you will mentor lending staff, collaborate across departments, and present loan requests to committees while representing the bank in the community

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred in business, finance, accounting, economics, or related field.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive lending experience with commercial lending expertise.
• Experience originating and managing commercial, CRE, consumer, and residential real estate loans.
• Advanced credit analysis and financial statement analysis skills.
• Proven business development and relationship management capabilities.
• Strong knowledge of banking regulations and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Originates, structures, underwrites, and services loan relationships across commercial, CRE, consumer, and residential real estate.
• Manages a large, complex loan portfolio with attention to credit quality and risk management.
• Analyzes financial statements, cash flows, and collateral to assess borrower risk.
• Presents loan requests and credit recommendations to Loan Committee and Board as required.
• Maintains compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
• Leads and mentors lending staff; collaborates with internal departments to deliver solutions.
• Represents the bank in the community to build centers of influence and relationships.
