Job summary

Henkel Adhesive Technologies seeks a senior legal executive to lead North American legal matters. The VP, Associate General Counsel will counsel on commercial contracts, regulatory issues, antitrust, privacy and IP, and manage a 16-person team across multiple legal disciplines.

The role reports to NA Legal leadership and collaborates with senior business leaders to align legal strategy with Henkel’s growth objectives. Hybrid work with critical in-office leadership at Rocky Hill, CT.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor from accredited US law school.
• Active Connecticut state bar license, or license in another state with ability to obtain CT Authorized House Counsel license.
• 12-20 years’ experience in commercial law, either in private practice or in-house, with focus on sophisticated contracts and crisis management.

Responsibilities

• Advise on commercial contracts, regulatory compliance, antitrust, privacy, IP, and mergers & acquisitions.
• Lead a 16-person legal team across commercial, patent, and trademark functions.
• Partner with senior leaders and cross-functional teams on strategic business topics and risk management.
