Job summary

Meow Wolf is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to join its legal team in Santa Fe or other approved markets. Reporting to the General Counsel, you will provide strategic legal guidance across IP, licensing, real estate, construction, data privacy, governance, and litigation as needed.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school and active bar membership in good standing.
• 15+ years of legal experience, including at least 10 years in-house at a media company.
• Broad legal knowledge across IP, real estate, governance, data privacy, licensing and contracts.
• Exceptional drafting and verbal communication with strong business judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic legal guidance across IP, licensing, real estate, construction, governance and litigation as needed.
• Draft, review and negotiate bespoke contracts and policies with pragmatic, business-friendly terms.
• Advise cross-functional teams and manage external counsel in complex matters.
• Support due diligence, compliance, labor relations and corporate governance as the company scales.
