Job summary

BNY Mellon is seeking a Senior Vice President, Application Development Manager to join our corporate organization in New York. The role leads one or more development teams, overseeing end-to-end systems development, implementation, and production support.

The ideal candidate will have 10+ years in systems analysis and development, strong people leadership, and experience in financial services. Advanced degree preferred.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in systems analysis and program development with supervisory, management and administrative experience.
• Experience in securities or financial services is a plus.
• Experience leading one or more development teams.
• People leadership experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides analysis, design, development, testing and ongoing support for client area application systems across diverse platforms and environments.
• Manage medium to large-sized or multiple small teams responsible for all phases of the systems development and implementation process.
• Analyzes organizational needs for application development and interfaces with clients to ensure systems meet business requirements.
• Oversees applications programming and analysis projects including development, installation and maintenance of applications.
• Ensures availability, integrity and stability of production systems with rapid response processes.
