Job summary

Novacore in the United States is seeking a Senior leader to own the AI platform and engineering roadmap, shaping AI-driven underwriting and related workflows. You’ll define the architecture, guide a cloud-native Azure environment, and lead a small team to deliver scalable solutions.

You’ll collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Executive Leadership to translate business needs into production-grade AI tooling and developer platforms.

Qualifications

• Expert-level hands-on engineering with code proficiency.
• Experience building production AI systems.
• Strong Python and AI framework experience.
• Azure cloud platform design/ownership.
• RESTful services and modern backend architectures.
• Ability to define and execute a technical roadmap.

Responsibilities

• Own AI platform ownership and roadmap.
• Design and build AI-first platforms for underwriting.
• Lead adoption of AI-assisted development tools.
• Operate models and agents in production with Data Science.
• Lead modern Azure-based architectures and platformization.
• Develop proprietary AI-enabled underwriting platform.
• Define APIs and workflows across underwriting lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership across full stack.
• Mentor engineers on AI tooling.
• Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
