Job summary

BNY is seeking a seasoned Solutions Architect to deliver high-quality architectural solutions and modernize platforms. The role blends architecture practices with software development lifecycles, embedding governance by design and AI-assisted design approaches to accelerate delivery across Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA.

You will lead enterprise initiatives, align roadmaps with business priorities, and champion best practices in cloud-native architectures, DCI/CD, and security.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years in technology and architecture roles; securities/financial services experience a plus.
• Expertise in cloud-native architectures (AWS/Azure/GCP), microservices, APIs, event-driven designs.
• Proven experience with IaC, policy-as-code, CI/CD, automated gates and reference implementations.
• Strong leadership, influencing skills, and ability to make fast, informed decisions.
• Experience with GenAI-assisted design and responsible AI considerations.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality architectural solutions and ensure policy compliance.
• Strategize enterprise initiatives on architectures, patterns, and standards.
• Integrate architecture with SDLC and developer workflows to enable governance by design.
• Define architecture and design in line with principles and standards.
• Advise senior management on technology initiatives and resource needs.
• Plan and design solutions for complex technology environments and drive value.
• Design stable, high-performance solutions maximizing reuse and reducing redundancy.
• Champion AI-assisted design and pilot AI-driven tooling with measurable benefits.
• Oversee architecture activities and align roadmaps with business priorities.
• Foster a culture of excellence and collaborative improvement.
