Job summary

First Command seeks a senior leader to head Advisor Operations, overseeing Field Force Training, Onboarding and Recruiting, and operations support across Field and Home Office. You will drive strategic initiatives, budgeting, and cross-functional collaboration to enhance advisor performance and client service.

You will partner with ELT and senior leaders to develop field-focused strategies and deliver impactful programs that align with enterprise goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced credentials preferred.
• Certifications in financial planning or related fields are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead Field Force Training, Advisor Onboarding & Recruiting, and Advisor Operations teams.
• Represent the Field Force and NDAO in committees and meetings.
• Coordinate activities to improve advisor operations performance across Field and Home Office.
• Develop and execute field-focused strategies aligned with enterprise goals.
• Oversee budgeting for assigned teams and ensure budget adherence.
• Partner with Home Office departments (FP&A, Product, Marketing, HR, Compliance).
• Drive events and programs to inspire the Field and achieve strategic goals.
• Provide advisor compensation coordination and support.
• Ensure communications that impact the field are timely and effective.
