Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Senior Voice Engineer in Washington, DC, fully on-site, to lead Tier 3/4 Cisco CUCM voice engineering for federal missions. The role requires an active TS/SCI clearance and CCNP Collaboration, with a path toward CCIE Collaboration.

You will design, implement, and support voice and video networks across enterprise and tactical environments. Applicants should have 10+ years in IT and network engineering, strong Cisco CUCM experience, and DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 credentials.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance, or TS/SCI eligible for reinstatement.
• Current CCNP Collaboration with hands-on Cisco CUCM.
• Willingness to obtain CCIE Collaboration.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level 2 certification or higher.
• 10+ years IT experience, including network infrastructure experience.
• Experience with Cisco CUCM voice environments.
• Knowledge of network protocols.
• Experience developing SOPs and guides.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to travel up to 10%.
• Fully on-site in Washington, DC.
• Master’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder/government requirements into network solutions and upgrades.
• Design, develop, and support Cisco CUCM-based voice and collaboration environments.
• Design and develop voice, video, data networks.
• Provide expert analysis of networks and upgrade protocols.
• Configure media with network devices and controllers.
• Provide Tier 3/4 engineering support across networks.
• Plan layouts, assess topology and capacity requirements.
• Evaluate new technologies to modernize networking solutions.
• Develop IT checklists and SOPs.
