Job summary

ZealHire Inc. is seeking a hands-on senior developer to build voice-enabled AI agents and orchestration workflows. You will design and implement scalable back-end services using Python, LangChain/LangGraph, and AWS, delivering production-ready capabilities.

Expect collaboration with product, AI/ML, and platform teams in an Agile setting. You will own delivery from requirements through production support, write tests, participate in design reviews, and ensure security and data protection.

Qualifications

• Experience building production-grade Python backend services.
• Proficiency with AI agents, conversational flows, and real-time interactions.
• Hands-on experience with LangChain, LangGraph, or similar frameworks.
• Strong AWS deployment, monitoring, and fault-tolerant design.
• Design of REST APIs, microservices, and data storage solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy voice AI agents and workflows using Python and LangChain/LangGraph.
• Create conversational flows with context handling, tool calls, and live handoffs.
• Integrate speech tech and contact center platforms; optimize latency and reliability.
• Develop secure APIs and backend integrations for customer service actions.
• Implement prompts, RAG, and enterprise knowledge grounding.
• Build scalable AWS solutions with proper error handling and retries.
• Conduct testing, reviews, and contribute to technical specifications.
• Write unit/integration/conversational regression tests; support end-to-end testing.
• Assess conversation quality and improve reliability and user experience.
• Enforce security and data protection; govern AI guardrails.
• Estimate work, plan sprints, and manage dependencies and risks.
• Prepare releases via CI/CD and support production monitoring.
• Troubleshoot production issues and document operational procedures.
• Collaborate with teams and stakeholders in an Agile environment.
