Job summary

Unisys is seeking a Principal VMware Systems Support professional to lead enterprise VMware administration, architecture, and strategy across locations. The role emphasizes collaboration with business teams, guiding complex deployments, and driving reliability and performance improvements.

The ideal candidate has deep VMware expertise, demonstrates leadership across teams, and brings experience with Windows Server clustering, Linux clustering, and cloud DR/HA in OCI and Azure.

Qualifications

BA/BS degree and 8+ years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Master's degree is preferred.
Certifications: VCAP, VCP, ITIL Foundation or higher.

Responsibilities

Lead Systems Administration across the company, providing technical guidance and ensuring alignment with business requirements.
Design and support high-availability VMware solutions, including clustering and migration planning.
Advise on enterprise infrastructure design and technology integration with storage, databases, and networks.
Assist in DR planning, validation, and documentation for VMware environments across on-premises and cloud.
