Job summary

Northwest Administrators, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Senior Systems Engineer to serve as a technical authority for our core infrastructure, including VMware environments, enterprise storage, and backup/recovery systems.

You will design, deploy and maintain high-availability platforms across on-premises and Azure, manage AD, Entra ID, M365/Exchange hybrid topologies, and oversee identity and device management. You should bring 7–10 years in enterprise systems engineering, VMware VCP/VCAP preferred,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
7–10 years in enterprise systems administration and engineering, with senior/lead responsibilities.
Extensive virtualization, datacenter infrastructure knowledge, SAN/NAS, backup & recovery platforms (M365 & Exchange).
VMware VCP or VCAP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Architect, deploy, configure and maintain high-availability vSphere environments and vCenter administration.
Manage enterprise storage design, provisioning and troubleshooting.
Own enterprise backup/replication infrastructure (VEEAM) and DR/testing.
Administer Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, M365 and Exchange hybrid topologies.
Oversee hybrid Exchange, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams.
Manage hybrid identity, PKI, and InTune for devices.
