Job summary

eNGINE is seeking a VMware Engineer to support and optimize a large-scale virtual infrastructure in Pittsburgh, PA. This on-site role focuses on VMware stack expertise across vCenter, Aria, SRM, and related technologies to drive uptime and security.

You will lead upgrades, patching, and infrastructure initiatives, collaborating with the infrastructure team to implement strategic improvements and document performance metrics for governance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Enterprise VMware experience required.
• Strong knowledge of Aria Suite, SRM, and vCenter.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Administer and upgrade VMware environments, including vCenter, Aria, SRM, and vReps
• Lead patching, remediation, and infrastructure enhancement initiatives
• Troubleshoot complex issues across the VMware stack
• Partner with other infrastructure team members to maintain enterprise stability
• Participate in strategic planning and document infrastructure performance metrics
• Drive or support VMware-specific projects and rollouts
