Qualifications

• 13+ years of information technology experience.
• 3+ years of government experience (Federal, State, or Local).
• 8+ years in enterprise environments involving SAN and VMware infrastructure.
• 8+ years of hands-on VMware ESX administration experience.
• Experience with capacity planning based on technical analysis.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, configure, administer, and maintain enterprise VMware virtualization solutions.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware ESX and SAN infrastructure for performance and availability.
• Monitor and optimize enterprise server infrastructure, capacity, and security.
• Perform infrastructure upgrades, installations, configuration changes, and maintenance.
• Conduct capacity planning, technical research, and performance analysis for infra improvements.
• Support disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity initiatives.
• Develop technical design docs, deployment procedures, and support guides.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, virtualization, and network issues.
• Collaborate with application teams, engineers, vendors, and IT leadership.
• Ensure adherence to information security policies and standards.
• Manage support tickets and provide timely updates.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
