InstantServe LLC seeks a Senior VMware Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, maintain, and support enterprise VMware and server infrastructure. You will collaborate with application, networking, infrastructure, and security teams to ensure stability, performance, security, and availability.

The role requires extensive VMware ESX administration, SAN management, and Windows Server expertise, with a focus on capacity planning, DR, and security compliance.

Qualifications

• Over 13 years of IT experience.
• 3+ years of government experience (Federal, State, or Local).
• 8+ years enterprise infrastructure experience with SAN and VMware.
• 8+ years VMware ESX administration experience.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or 5+ additional years of VMware experience.
• Advanced knowledge of Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Design, implement, configure, and maintain enterprise VMware solutions.
• Perform VMware ESX administration, upgrades, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Support enterprise SAN and VMware infrastructure environments.
• Administer and maintain Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• Perform infrastructure capacity planning and performance optimization.
• Support disaster recovery, failover, and business continuity activities.
• Develop technical documentation and infrastructure support procedures.
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and coordinate with technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and infrastructure standards.
• Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotation.
