Job summary

SHI International Corp. is seeking an experienced VMware Cloud Foundation Architect to plan, deploy, and manage the base VCF solution. You will size infrastructure for management components and workloads, lead customer projects, and mentor consultants.

Role requires deep expertise in vSphere, vSAN, NSX, Aria Operations/Automation, and SDDC Manager, with strong communication and design skills for complex, multi-product environments.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience implementing and configuring vSphere environments.

• Experience designing, deploying and configuring NSX and NSX migrations.
• 3
• Experience designing, deploying and configuring data center networks with LANs/WANs, routers, switches and firewalls.
• 4
• Experience with Aria Operations, dashboards and logs.
• 5
• Experience deploying Aria Automation and integrating Orchestrator.
• 6
• Senior skills in disaster recovery using SRM or VMware Live Recovery.
• 7
• Strong communications and customer-facing consulting abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead customer consulting projects focused on VMware Cloud Foundation private cloud solutions.
• Provide SME guidance to identify VCF opportunities with clients.
• Plan, deploy, manage and operate VMware Cloud Foundation, sizing infrastructure for management and workloads.
• Mentor and manage consultants on VCF solutions.
• Collaborate with clients on design and deployment of VCF planning and network topology.
• Ensure successful outcomes across multiple VMware products.
