Job summary

Elluminates Software is seeking a full-time Senior VMware Administrator to support the Vanguard 2025 program for the Department of State in Springfield, VA, with eventual relocation to Washington, DC. The role focuses on developing virtualization solutions using VMware and storage technologies and providing secure, cost-effective IT services.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Networking and Datacenter operations, to design and deploy scalable virtualization solutions

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on VMware and vSphere experience.
• Bachelor's degree with related experience; Masters considered.
• Experience documenting requirements for customers.

Responsibilities

• Execute duties as a member of the Infrastructure team.
• Integrate and deploy VMware IT solutions.
• Rack and stack new data center equipment.
• Work with Networking to configure virtual switching.
• Provide operational engineering for enterprise-level virtualization and storage.
• Provision virtual machines and patch software/hardware.
• Update system docs and SOPs.
