Job summary

Banana Republic is seeking a Senior Stylist, Visual Direction to elevate Lay Down work. You will lead PPLD styling, coordinate with Photo and Retouching, and push workflow improvements with new tools including AI. Coaching stylists and maintaining high standards are core.

You will partner with Brand to ensure premium imagery across categories, while modernizing the workflow and ensuring timely deliverables. Strong editorial eye and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of advanced styling experience with PPLD and editorial eye.
• Proven leadership in styling or management with coaching skills.
• Strong communication to align Styling, Photo and Brand partners.
• Open to exploring AI tools for ideation, documentation and efficiency.
• Ability to train stylists on set and maintain high craft standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as the studio's PPLD styling expert: techniques, tools, composition, shaping.
• Style across categories; on-figure experience is a plus.
• Train and coach stylists on set, reinforcing elevated techniques.
• Provide clear direction to photographers and retouchers via Axis markups.
• Coordinate with Photo and Retouching teams through weekly touchpoints.
• Lead site audits to ensure accuracy, consistency, and customer impact.
