Job summary

You will develop recipes and support tech transfer, startup, and routine manufacturing with hands-on validation. A BS/BA in Life Sciences or Engineering is required; 8+ years for Principal VI or 10+ years for Staff VI.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Life Sciences, Engineering or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Principal VI Engineer: 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Staff VI Engineer: 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Experience in pharmaceutical automated visual inspection and camera tuning.

Responsibilities

• Acts as a technical SME for assigned visual inspection equipment and processes.
• Responsible for recipe development, vision system tuning, and life cycle management of semi‑automated and automated processes and associated vision systems.
• Supports Project Engineering, QA Validation, and Process Validation in new equipment startup, commissioning, and qualification/validation activities.
• Supports technology transfer/new product introduction and the development or revision of defect classifications and manuals.
• Partners cross functionally to implement or revise policies and procedures for the visual inspection program.
• Gathers, trends, and analyzes process‑generated data and implements continual improvements.
