Job summary

VSA Partners is seeking an experienced Visual Designer to join IBM Creative in shaping brand experiences across media. You will work with a team to craft typography-led design systems and motion elements aligned with IBM’s strategic goals.

You’ll contribute concept sketches, storyboards, and detailed design rationales, collaborating across disciplines to deliver print, online, motion, and events. Demonstrated craft in animation and identity systems is essential.

Qualifications

• Strong typography and layout skills for brand experiences across media.
• Proven ability to design and animate for print, digital, and motion.
• Ability to create identity systems and storyboard concepts.
• Comfort presenting and iterating with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects from conception, design, through execution.
• Produce deliverables from print to online and multimedia.
• Create 2D animations with minimalist design concepts.
• Develop sketches, storyboards, and animated sequences and stories.
• Apply typography, illustration, iconography and photography to concepts.
• Understand IBM's business strategies and brand systems.
• Contribute to style guides and UI toolkits as needed.
• Prepare comps and assist with presentations.
• Collaborate with senior designers to manage priorities and delivery.
