Job summary

VSA Partners seeks a seasoned Visual Designer to join IBM Creative under the IBM brand strategy. You will craft ideas into brand experiences across online, print, motion and events, with a modern typographic approach and strong visual storytelling.

You will collaborate with senior designers and cross-functional teams to deliver elegant design solutions that align with IBM’s strategies and goals, ensuring quality control and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience designing experiences across media.
• Knowledge of grids, typography, color, layout, iconography and systems.
• Strong animation/visual storytelling skills.
• Ability to visualize concepts into end products.

Responsibilities

• Execute projects from conception through execution.
• Produce print to online and multimedia deliverables.
• Create 2D animations with minimalist design concepts.
• Develop storyboards and animated sequences.
• Convey concepts through typography, illustration, iconography and photography.
• Understand IBM's business strategies and goals.
• Support brand vision, systems and documentation.
• Contribute to style guides and UI toolkits.
• Prepare comps and assist with presentations.
• Coordinate with senior designers to manage priorities and quality.
