Job summary

The role sits at the intersection of Linux systems, hypervisors, and low-level platform software, with hands-on work in complex VMware environments and collaboration with internal teams, customers, and partners. You will drive performance analysis, debugging, automation, and technical leadership, mentoring peers across global teams

Qualifications

• Deep hands-on VMware VCF, vSphere/ESX and NSX expertise.
• Strong debugging skills at system/hypervisor level.
• Solid knowledge of x86_64 architecture and performance concepts.
• Proficiency in C, Python, and scripting for systems work.
• Experience with enterprise customers, OEMs, OS partners.

Responsibilities

• Enable VMware ecosystem readiness and platform enablement for AMD.
• Support hardware bring-up with firmware/OS dependency awareness.
• Analyze and debug VMware ESXi kernel and system issues.
• Validate platform software features in VMware deployments.
• Deploy and optimize VMware solution stack on AMD products.
• Perform performance analysis and tuning for VMware workloads.
• Publish tunings and best practices in guides and collateral.
• Build automation to improve validation and debugging.
• Engage with enterprise customers, OEMs, OS partners to drive solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship.
