Job summary

Moog Inc. is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer focused on virtualization and automation. You will research, design, automate, implement, and manage Moog's global virtualization, server, storage, and data protection platforms.

You will shape Moog's future virtualization strategy, evaluate new technologies, and drive IaC and automation initiatives across global infrastructure, including security and recovery planning.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related technical discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive enterprise infrastructure experience.
• Significant experience with VMware vSphere and related technologies.
• Strong understanding of compute, storage, networking, and data center components.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, modernization, and lifecycle management of enterprise virtualization platforms and related infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
• Design and implement automation using PowerShell, Ansible, APIs, and related frameworks.
• Collaborate with storage, network, security, and operations teams to deliver integrated infrastructure solutions.
• Provide technical leadership during upgrades, migrations, and transformations.
