Job summary

Synapse Virtual Production in Atlanta seeks a Senior Virtual Production Supervisor to lead virtual production design, methodology and execution at the Atlanta studio, developed in collaboration with Tyler Perry Studios.

Reporting to the Executive Producer, you will translate creative vision into reliable, high-performing VP solutions across pre-production to on-stage delivery, guiding technology choices and workflows while shaping the future of Synapse's VP capabilities.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience leading virtual production on feature films, television, commercials, or live productions.
• Deep expertise in Unreal Engine, real-time workflows, LED volumes and cross-functional leadership.
• Strong communication and collaboration across creative, production and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead virtual production strategy, workflow design, and technical execution from pre-production through on-stage delivery.
• Bridge between creative, production, and technical teams to support each project's vision.
• Advise clients, filmmakers, directors, cinematographers, and production teams on capabilities and best practices.
• Oversee Unreal Engine, LED volume workflows, camera tracking, and in-camera VFX and real-time systems.
• Collaborate with Executive Producer, Technical Stage Manager, Systems Engineer, and stage operators.
• Drive continuous improvement through workflow refinement and scalable best practices.
