Job summary

Phoenix Technology Partners, LLC is seeking a senior engineer to join the virtual desktop architecture team. You will ensure performance, reliability, security, and ongoing improvements for the VDI environment, supporting Citrix and AVD operations.

You will lead architecture, migrations, and optimization efforts across CVAD, AVD, and related profile technologies while collaborating with multiple IT teams to deliver scalable enterprise solutions.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
7+ years designing and supporting large-scale enterprise VDI environments.
Deep expertise with CVAD on-prem and migration to AVD/Citrix DaaS.
Strong knowledge of profile management tech like FSLogix.

Responsibilities

Provide full-time engineering and operational support for Citrix and AVD queues, escalations, and migrations.
Lead architecture, design, and optimization of virtual desktop environments for scalability and security.
Manage incidents, requests, and problems with adherence to SLAs.
Develop automation scripts to improve efficiency and reporting.
Collaborate with IT infra, network, security, and service delivery teams on enterprise solutions.
Support migration strategy from CVAD on-prem to AVD and Citrix DaaS with minimal disruption.
