Job summary

Stone Search, LLC seeks a Senior Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Engineer to lead architecture and enhance end-user computing platforms in a large enterprise environment.

You will drive the migration from on-prem Citrix CVAD to Azure Virtual Desktop, collaborating with Security, Network, and IT leadership to deliver resilient, scalable solutions. A 7+ year track record in VDI and strong PowerShell skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years architecting, managing, and supporting large-scale enterprise VDI environments.
• Proven ability to step into complex environments and become productive immediately.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, scale, and optimize resilient and secure virtual desktop environments.
• Drive migration strategy from CVAD on-premises to AVD and Citrix DaaS with minimal business disruption.
• Evaluate and refine profile management and application-delivery solutions (FSLogix, Citrix UPM).
• Own the queue: manage, prioritize, and resolve Tier-3 tickets and escalations within SLAs.
• Automate deployment, monitoring, and reporting tasks using PowerShell.
