Job summary

Pace Analytical Life Sciences is seeking a scientifically driven lab professional to design and execute in ovo viral propagation studies. This full-time role supports vaccine development with data collection and GMP/GLP-compliant experiments in a lab environment.

Responsibilities include independent work with embryonated eggs, aseptic techniques, data interpretation, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to advance projects in a dynamic R&D setting.

Qualifications

• Master’s with 2-4 years of industry experience or Ph.D. in Virology, Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Animal Science, Veterinary Science, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
• Hands-on experience with in ovo techniques, embryonated egg inoculation, viral propagation, or vaccine development activities.
• Knowledge of BSL-2 laboratory environments and aseptic techniques for maintaining a clean laboratory environment.
• Experience with method development in a GMP/GLP laboratory environment.
• Strong communication and data-interpretation skills for technical reporting.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform experimental work involving in ovo viral propagation, including inoculation of embryonated eggs and virus harvest procedures.
• Execute laboratory activities with accurate pipetting, sample preparation, and safe handling of biological material.
• Apply aseptic techniques during virus propagation and related laboratory tasks.
• Generate methods for technical activities under supervision and adapt to evolving project needs.
• Organize, interpret, and present experimental data to support project advancement and investigations.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to share learnings and progress portfolio projects.
• Support training and development of laboratory personnel under senior scientist guidance.
• Operate and troubleshoot laboratory equipment and document work in records and ELNs.
