Job summary

Pace is seeking a lab-based scientist to help design and execute studies for in ovo viral propagation, supporting vaccine development and licensure. This role emphasizes precise pipetting, aseptic technique, and safe handling of infectious material in a BSL-2 environment.

You will collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance portfolio projects, while maintaining meticulous records and contributing to process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related science is required.
• Relevant laboratory internship experience - 2 years of industry experience.
• Experience with BSL-2 laboratory environments and aseptic techniques.
• Proficiency in accurate and precise pipetting.
• Strong written and verbal communication for documenting data.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform experimental work involving in ovo viral propagation and inoculation.
• Execute lab activities with accurate pipetting and proper sample handling.
• Apply aseptic techniques and work within BSL-2 safety guidelines.
• Document work in batch records and ELNs; present data to teams.
• Collaborate with scientists and cross-functional teams to advance projects.
