Job summary

Tennis Channel is seeking a freelance Senior Video Producer in Santa Monica, CA to lead long-form and YouTube content. You’ll partner with the Head of Social and other video leads to shape strategy, concept ideas, direct shoots, and even edit hands-on when needed.

You’ll manage timelines, collaborate with post producers, and ensure the brand voice remains strong across all deliverables. The role is freelance, approximately 30-40 hours per week, with tournaments driving schedules, and runs

Qualifications

• 5+ years in video production, including long-form/serialized content.
• Track record contributing to YouTube channel strategy and growth.
• Experience directing and collaborating with post producers/editors, giving creative direction and cut feedback.
• Strong project management: timelines, schedules, on-site plans.
• Hands-on shooting and editing skills (Adobe Premiere Pro).
• Comfortable working on-site at live tennis events, capturing courtside and behind-the-scenes footage.
• Sports or live-event production experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Head of Social and video leads to shape and execute video strategy, focusing on long-form and YouTube channel.
• Concept and pitch long-form and serialized video ideas and formats for YouTube, and plan them to ship.
• Produce content start to finish — concept, shoot, direct shoots, and edit hands-on when needed.
• Direct and collaborate with post producers/editors, provide creative direction and cut feedback.
• Build and manage timelines — post-production schedules and shoot plans to keep projects on track.
• Cover live tournament action and reactive content alongside long-form priorities.
• Offer recommendations on YouTube performance and long-form opportunities to leadership.
• Maintain Tennis Channel's brand voice and visual quality across deliverables.
