Job summary

Future Form Manufacturing seeks a Vice President of Manufacturing Operations to lead daily operations across Reno/Sparks facilities, aligning safety, quality, delivery, and cost with aggressive growth plans. You will shape the operating system, supervise the Director of Operations, and partner with Supply Chain to ensure feasible capacity and on-time commitments.

The role requires a hands-on executive style, Lean expertise, and strong ERP/MRP experience, preferably with NetSuite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or related)
• 10+ years of progressive manufacturing operations leadership, including 5+ years in a senior leader role
• Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication processes (laser cutting, CNC machining, forming, welding, powder coating, and assembly)
• Experience scaling manufacturing operations through rapid growth or multi-site expansion
• Experience managing major equipment installations, facility expansions, or greenfield projects
• Lean manufacturing implementation and structured problem solving experience
• ERP/MRP-based manufacturing processes experience, preferably NetSuite
• Working knowledge of equipment reliability and maintenance (OEE, preventive maintenance)
• Strong financial acumen; manage operating budgets and capital expenditures
• Ability to lead and develop leaders on the plant floor
• On-site in Reno/Sparks, Nevada; relocation if needed

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership over daily manufacturing operations across all facilities with accountability for safety, quality, delivery, productivity, and throughput.
• Lead and develop the Director of Operations and other leaders, establish accountability, KPIs, and succession depth.
• Translate aggressive growth objectives into executable manufacturing strategies, staffing plans, budgets, and a scalable operating system.
• Partner with Supply Chain in SIOP and capacity planning; confirm production feasibility before orders.
• Implement daily management routines and dashboards for real-time performance visibility.
• Develop and manage manufacturing budgets, labor plans, and capital expenditures; drive cost reductions.
• Drive adoption of standardized processes in NetSuite; collaborate with Engineering and Supply Chain.
• Oversee equipment installs, ramp-up, and qualification for new systems and facilities.
• Develop labor models, shift structures, and training programs; establish onboarding and cross-training.
• Lead continuous improvement culture using Lean and structured problem solving.
• Support NPI by ensuring manufacturability and manufacturing readiness for new products
• Ensure ISO 9001, EHS, and customer-specific quality standards are met.
• Travel to customers, suppliers, and future facilities as needed
